Missing money at MF Global may never be recouped

A “significant amount” of the missing $1.2 billion in MF Global funds may have “vaporized” during the brokerage’s final chaotic days, according to the Wall Street Journal. Regulators, investigators and court-appointed trustees involved in the search for the missing funds believe the bulk of the missing money may never be recovered.
