New Hampshire woman heads first Schwab independent franchise office

Charles SchwabCharles Schwab Corp. has opened its first franchise branch office. The Nashua, New Hampshire franchise will be operated by Mary Murphy, an advisor from nearby Bedford, New Hampshire who formerly worked at UBS and MML Investor Services.  The opening comes ten months after Schwab first announced the plan to expand its retail branches with independent operators.
