A former broker of Wells Fargo Advisors has been awarded $6.83 million in an arbitration dispute stemming from a wrongful termination and defamation claim after cooperating with a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) investigation.Gregory Kipple had been terminated by Wells Fargo in 2009 after being tied to a customer complaint and then cooperating with a FINRA investigation of the matter, according to his attorney David Wechsler, of Wechsler & Cohen LLP.
