The Financial Times (FT) apps for iPad and iPhone are no longer available in Apple Inc.’s app store. FT confirmed Wednesday that it has removed its app from iTunes and is directing readers to a recently launched web app that allows FT to bypass Apple’s new restrictive terms for content distribution. iTunes will remain an important channel for new and existing advertising-based apps, according to an FT spokeswoman.
