When marketing to the next generation of insurance consumers, particularly Generation Y, the insurance industry should keep this in mind: Gen-Y, today's 20- and 30-somethings born mainly in the '80s and '90s, want to interact with insurance companies online at their convenience.
That's the take-home message of the latest Employers Small Business Opinion Poll of 1,258 consumers. Infogroup/ORC conducted the poll by telephone last June.
