The majority of Americans believe that retirement planning is easier for individuals who are not married, according to Charles Schwab’s latest quarterly retirement pulse survey released yesterday. 53% of married people and 69% of singles think it is easier for unmarried individuals to make major financial decisions toward retirement, though survey data does not support their contentions.
