The U.S. economy may be in slow recovery, but Americans continue to cope with being in an unstable financial position.  Due to the recession, 37% of consumers said they feel they have experienced ‘severe’ financial impact, according to a report entitled The Hartford’s 2010 Benefit Landscape Study, discussed during a keynote speech given by Ron Gendreau, executive vice president at the Hartford Group, during the annual conference of the Disability Management Employer Coalition.
