Institutional investor confidence rises in October

Global investor confidenceThe State Street Global Investor Confidence Index saw a significant increase of 6.7 points in October to a level of 96.7, an indication of marked and continued improvement in institutional investors’ outlook.  The monthly global index increase was attributed to gains in North America and Europe, with North American Investor Confidence rising 6.6 points to 91.7 in October, and European Investor Confidence gaining 3.4 points to an October level of 99.3.
