As we all know, the Dow Jones unexplainably gave the world a heart attack last Thursday. The intraday drop of nearly 1,000 points and then the climb back up has left everyone speculating about what happened. The NYSE and Nasdaq have been pointing fingers but according to a Reuters article yesterday have called a truce and have pledged to co-operate with each other and regulators to figure out what happened.

Watch and listen to traders as they capitalize on the intraday drop and bounce.  Their reaction, the trades they were executing and their sheer excitement of an apparent nearly once in a life time intraday trading opportunity handed to them on a silver platter.

CareerBuilder and USA TODAY's latest nationwide survey of employers found six employment trends for Q2 2010.  For example, hiring contract workers is a trend, as employers seem to be hesitant to accelerate hiring of permanent staff, 25 percent of employers anticipate hiring contract workers or freelancers in the second quarter to help fill productivity gaps.  Thirteen percent said they are likely to hire these workers on a permanent basis.
