Merrill Lynch expects to hire 1,600 broker-trainees this year and possibly more in 2011, according to an article recently posted UK.Reuters.com.
Lyle LaMothe, head of U.S. wealth management at Merrill Lynch, said Wednesday that the No. 2 U.S. brokerage has already added 1,500 trainees this year and plans to add another 100 before the end of 2010.
