Perspective on executive employment market "very confident"Posted by RJ and Makay on Nov 30, 2010 |
In November,
61% of the 147 search firm professionals who responded to Execunet’s survey for its Recruiter Confidence Index said they were either “confident” or “very confident” that the executive employment market would improve over the next six months. Their confidence was based on interpretations of corporate hiring plans extending deep into 2011. The confidence level was up six points from October’s resulting data, and matched forecasts of other executive job growth predictions made in November. For November, executive recruiters were gaining assurance that consumer spending growth, economic growth and increased investor confidence would have a positive effect on management hiring plans over the coming six months.
